Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Hi,
I am on H1B and I am planning to start a company along with my brother who has Green Card. We are thinking of starting an LLC. My concerns are:
1. I know on H1B, we cannot work for any other employer than the one who filed my petition. So, How can we prove I am not active in company being passive investor.
2. Can I have the email ID with the company domain and exchange emails during normal running of the company? Does it have any affect in case of audits?
3. Can we have a joint bank account?
4.Will having my name in the company registration will affect my Green Card process in future? I heard investing and withdrawing profits from the company account will negatively affect my Green Card process or immigration status as it will reflect in the tax filings. ?
5. How can I withdraw/share profits monthly?
