Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
My husband has been asked to write a letter to revalidate his I-130 and to reinstate his visa for not being in contact with the consulate for over a year. If his case is permanently closed can he be deported if we start from scratch? He has no criminal background and he came in without inspection as a child.

You may want to have a lawyer review the case for a whole bunch of issues that I can see including his ability to apply for DACA and possibly DAPA (assuming the Fifth Cir overrules Judge Hanen) and then whether or not you have an I-601A that's been approved and if he's been in removal proceedings. Not to mention possibly needing to reinstate an I-130 approval. Too much to handle on a message board. Hire counsel.
