Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
my husband's first appointment at juarez was february 25 , 2010. he was punished for ten year, and had a chance for a pardon. what will happen if he tries to cross the border illegally and gets arrested. what consequences will that bring?
1 Answer from Attorneys
If he crosses again he will have a 212(a)(9)(C) finding against him which means he would not be eligible for a waiver and he would have to stay in Mexico for 10 years before he can enter the United States again. There is no waiver (pardon) for the 212(a)(9)(C) finding. Did your husband file a waiver with the help of an immigration attorney? He can try filing a waiver again. You should speak to an immigration attorney. Please feel free to contact me for a consultation as I can help clients across the country.
