Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

I am an illegal immigrant who recently got married to a U.S. citizen. He is in the Marines and just got stationed in Arizona, we have a child together and he wants us to join him in Arizona. We have not started any paperwork yet and we were wondering if we should hire someone to help us fill out the I130 form. Also, Will him being in the military help speed up the process of me becoming a U.S. resident?

You should speak with an immigration attorney who can evaluate how best to proceed with your case. If you entered the country legally, and there are no other criminal issues, you may be able to file your I-130 and I-485 at the same time, however, the process will not be sped up because your husband is in the military.
