Trying to immigrate To the US

Me and my husband have been married for about 2 and have a 2 1/2 year old son. He has been in the U.S for about 17 years illegaly!!His parents came here 17 years ago and left him behind with his aunt. His aunt hired a lawyer and adopted him but never tryed to immigrate him!! HE WENT TO SCHOOL HERE BUT DROPPED OUT IN THE 11TH GRADE. Now he's in jail and being charged with a felony!!! There offering him 180 days and 10 years probation!! BUT NOW WERE WANDERING IF HE'S EVEN GONNA BE ABLE TO IMMIGRATE BECAUSE OF HIS FELONY!!! WILL HE BE ABLE TO IMMIGRATE???

The criminal charge will have severe consequences on his immigration status, and may very well result in his removal from the United States. It is extremely important that he have a defense attorney that knows immigration law, or vice versa. Or that you have two attorneys consulting each other. It is going to be expensive, but it is vital that the criminal case be resolved in a way that will not hurt his LPR. There is no way to know if that can be done, without full facts on both cases.
