Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Immigrating a nephew
My Nephew is starting college in the US. He is from Mexico. i am his aunt and I am a US citizen. He will be staying with me while he attends the university. He has already been accepted and has an F-1 Visa. My question is how do I help him attain a green card as he wishes to enroll in ROTC at his university and they are asking for a social security card. Anyway I can help him obtain a green card so i can claim him in my taxes and get a social security card for him? Or can I apply for him to be admitted as a legal resident? Anyhnelp is greatly appreciated.

Re: Immigrating a nephew
Since your relative relationship is not close enough to benefit from the immigration law, you cannot help your nephew get the green card based on your relationship.
