Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Immigrating to the USA
My mom is a RN, and she will be coming to the USA with my dad to live and work there. We are all Canadian Citizens. However I am now 21, and I realize that I can't apply for a Green Card through her because of my age. But I heard that I fall under a different category, 21 and unmarried? How long is the wait for that? And what other options do I have to get a Green Card? I would like to come there to study, work and live. Thank you in advance

Re: Immigrating to the USA
The category you mention, 21 and unmarried is applicable to children of citizens, not LPR. The waiting list is also very long. You may qualify for a student visa, which after you complete, could qualify you for an employment visa (unless you are already qualified for an employment visa). Feel free to contact me directly if you have additional questions.
