Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

im trying to find out if i can divorce my wife without her being deported.we were married in scotland and we have been living here in texas and i now want to file for a divorce but she says she will be deported if that happens. is there any kind of law that states that she will be deported or will she be aloowed to stay here? please help me
