Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

immigration law

I have filed the I-130 petition after I married my husband in Egypt last July. They want more proof of realationship and all of the proof we had was on the computer, and was not emails, but IM's and voice chatting. I lived in Egypt with my husband for 8 months and recently have just returned to the states. I do not have any proof to give them and I do not know what to do now. I filed the petition with the embassy in Cairo. Is there anyway I can get him here now???

Re: immigration law

You must respond to the request for additional evidence, otherwise there is a high chance the I-130 would be denied. You can provide an affidavit (notarized) explaining your relationship, proof that you were living with your husband for eight months, airline tickets to Egypt, etc. to prove your relationship.

There are creative ways to establish the bona fide nature of your relationship. You can submit photographs taken in Cairo and other documentation. You may email me for some ideas and information.
