Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Impact on Citizenship eligibility due to duration of stay with Green Card
What happens if I am out of country for 5 months. I then return to the states and leave again within a week for another 2-3 more months? - What will happen to the time frame of my citizenship eligibility? Will it be extended by 3 months or will the entire year will be counted against me?

Re: Impact on Citizenship eligibility due to duration of stay with Green Card
The days you are absent are subtracted from the 5 year (3 year) requirement. There are also other regulations, some discretionary, which govern your periods of absence.
