Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
I jst filed for a U-Visa petition. but on the weekend I had an altercation with my husband and his mistress where I was attacked by her and her family they called the cops and so did I but when the police arrived they told me that I was gonna get in trouble for being at that girls house although the altercation and everything else took place in the middle of the street and not her property they continued to frightened me, I was mugged by the misstress and all his family 5 girls and 5 guys treaten me to pull a gun out on me and although I said all this to the police they still didnt believe me so my husban filed a domestic violence case agaisnt me allegating I hit him which is not true. I am planing on taking this to court. Will this affect my uvisa? Any lawyers here that can help with my case?
