K-1 visa
Hi
I am a us citizen my fiance would be coming on a k-1 visa and we will get married here my question is if he decide to apply for a work permit usually how long does it take for the work permit to be approved and if it is not approved in 90 days would he have to leave we will be applying for his permanent residency so as soon as we get married and file the paper work would he be able to live legally or would he have to leave the country and also if its taking long for his permit to be approved and he reaches his 90 day period would he have to leave the country? how long are the k-1 petitions taking to be approved now days so we set teh wedding date right and what are the chances for denial?
i would really appreciate your help i am totally confused .

Once you marry in the U.S., your fiance can submit an immigrant petition and application for permanent residency. If you are in Texas, you are eligible to use the DORA program - which may result in the issuance of a green card within 90 days.
