Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
I am married to an American citizen. I went for my I-485 interview in May 2009. I then had to for a second interview in the next month. Since then i have not heard anything. After enquiries i was told my case was pending law enforcement checks. It has been almost two years now and my case has not been adjudicated. I would to know what these law enforcement checks are, what they consist of and why mine is taking so long.
