Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
what if some one marries an immigrant, for money and never lived as man and wife? and the person was coman law married by proxy to her first husband who was in prison in texas at the time. she and her first husband had been divorced prior to the marriage by proxy. and was still married to her first husband when she married the immigrant.

Marrying for money to allow someone to come to / stay in the U.S. is a crime. And, if the woman was already married, then the second "marriage" is not a marriage.
