Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Marry to an U.S Citizen
I been living in the U.S for about 10 years under F-1 and then H-1B visas. During that time I meet my actual girlfriend, due to the recession the company I was working with went out of business and I had to go back to my country of residence. I applied for a B1/B2 visa which was granted and I have been visiting my girlfriend in the U.S since then. Now we want to get married and my question is can I get married in the U.S and then apply for a permanent resident without leaving the U.S?
