marrying someone with a visitor visa
My boyfriend will be coming to the US from Jamaica on a visitor visa what happens if we decide to get married while he is here? Will we be able to then apply for permanent residency?

Yes, but use a lawyer, as you may have to overcome a presumption of a lack of temporary intent.
