I have a pending case of I485....can I apply at the same time for J1 or H1b ?

You could, theoretically, be petitioned for an H-1B while your I-485 is pending. However, what makes you think your I-485 will be denied that you would need to file for an H-1B? Or, out of an abundance of caution, is your employer simply extending your current H-1B?
