Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Personal property taken
I had all my persoal property stored at a friends. Cell phone, wallet, cash, cars, titles, clothes, everything i own. I contacted the police and went to their house. They said i owed them money, ( i do not) so the policemen said it was a civial matter and he could do nothing. I can not even get a return pkone call from an attorney. What can i do?

If the value of the property is less than $10,000 -- sue them in JP court. Be prepared to defend yourself against their claim of the debt.
I presume this was listed under Immigration Law by accident.

Ms. Langford is correct. This is probably a small claims matter for you to try to litigate yourself if you can't get an attorney to handle it. If you owe them, then you'll need to pay them.
