Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
petition for minor child
I have already filed petition for my 8 year old kid in the Philippines. Im a greencard holder since 04/08. Last March 17, 2009 I have received a Notice of Action from the USCIS re: this petition. I would like to ask how long shall it take for the immigration to approve this petition. Would it help me to seek help from an immigration lawyer to hasten the process?

Re: petition for minor child
It's impossible to know at this point if an attorney can speed up the consular processing; simply because I have not seen the documents which you have filed. It might be worth your while to pay for an initial consultation, so that the attorney can review your paperwork and advise you if there are any other options available to you.
