re-entering the us with bad credit
my wife is a resident alien. she is gainfully employed. she has bad credit. a credit card debt. it is in collections. we are working with a debt consolidation co. she wants to travel to japan this winter. upon re-entry, could she be denied?

Re: re-entering the us with bad credit
A civil complaint about a civil debt has NO bearing on her immigration status or admissibility. She will not be denied re-entry based on this, and doubt if Customs ever cares about civil disputes.
