Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Remarrying?
I married an immigrant over 2 yrs ago.. We divorced after a yr of marriage. We are now talking again and found that we really do love each other alot. When I filed for divorce and canceled my sponsorship I stated that he had offered me money for his papers.
(that is true but he really was not meaning it, we were just fighting and I took it very serious.) So can we get remarried and file again for his papers... Maybe there is a certian waiting period or something to prove that this is real?

Re: Remarrying?
There is not a waiting period. You can remarry and refile. I strongly urge you to use an attorney, however, since there will be a link to the prior filing, and an attorney can properly document the package.
