Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

Am I required to file taxes for my spouse's green card?

Hello,

I'm an United States citizen and my wife's from Korea (not a US citizen). We got married in Texas for about a year. Am I required to file income tax every year in order for my wife to get her green card? Or can I just prove my employment with my w-2 earnings summary if need be?

As a sponsor of a foreign national you will be required to file an affidavit of support. The affidavit of support requires the tax return only for the most recent tax year.
