Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
spousal immigration
I am a US citizen and I am currently married to a Canadian citizen and living abroad. I am also thinking about returning to the US.
My question is, how would my husband get a green card so he could live and work in the U.S.?

Re: spousal immigration
There is a Family-Based immigration process for him to obtain legal permanent residence (and eventually citizenship) in the US, through your marriage. You petition on his behalf, and he applies for LPR. You can research and attempt the process on your own, or retain counsel to prepare and file the documents for you. If you are not familar with the process, you are well-served to be represented by counsel.
