Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
If I was to be stopped by an immigration officer or Border Patrol agent and I am under process with immigration or expecting a court date with immigration, what are my rights when stopped at a random checkpoint?

It depends on the basis for the stop. Border Patrol is generally an aggressive agency and sometimes their officers actions don't align with the Constitution. You should hire a lawyer to discuss your case in total; both the stop itself and how to go from not having status to obtaining some form of status or other benefit while in removal proceedings. Feel free to give us a call. We handle cases like these throughout the country for people just like you.
Please call me at (212) 968-8600 to discuss your case and matters. Kind regards, RDM
