I am presently employed by Company A in California, and am on H1B status that started on 1st October 2005, ... and move to Company B in Texas
I wanted to know, what the sequence of events should be for an H1B transfer
1. accept the offer
2. ask them to apply for H1, (but, wont the Company A know already when Company B applys on my behalf)
3. when the application is recieved , ... then am i suppose to give my 2 week notice to the company A, ........
4 and then work for the company B
please help me as to how one should plane this move, .. Thank you.

Re: Transfer of H1B
that's the correct sequence of events. Company A will not normally know that company B has applied for you. Good luck!
