usc married 10 y need green card
i'm married to an illegal immigrant for almost 9 years, never process anything because scared, he was arrested before marring at age 18 and scared it will cause problem. can I still process his paperwork for residency? will he be denied? should i hire an attorney to make sure everything thing is done correctly?

Whether you should apply for your husband's green card or not will depend on a couple of things. First, did he enter the U.S. with a visa that later expired or did he enter without a visa (illegally crossing the border)?
