Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
I have valid work permit. I worked for 5 months and my employer terminated me saying i have temporary visa issue. I still have 3 months valid permit plus another 17 months of extension. What are my rights? please help me. Also they did not give me any notice ahead of time.

It sound like you have complete your college degree program and are on a STEM Extension. You need to be working and you have to talk with your school.

If you had authorization to work in the United States, then this is actually an employment law or "wages & hours" issue, which requires a different type of attorney. If an employer has unlawfully terminated your employment, you can attempt to sue them civilly for monetary damages.
As far as immigration law applies, based on the facts you have provided, you appear to be in valid legal status & authorized to work for quite a long time. However, in order to get your job back, or get paid for back wages, damages, etc., you need to hire an Employment Law Attorney & sue them in State court.
