Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
wife's visa
Hi! I am US residence. I am graduating in 05/31/08. I would like to invite my wife to join in my graduation ceremony to share the happiness. Therefore I have decided her to apply for B2 visa to attend my graduation ceremony. But she was denied 5 times last year in student visa (F1). Does she still has a chance to get B2 visa?

Re: wife's visa
Certainly there is a chance, but will likely be denied. What was the reason for the earlier denials? Did they not believe that she had a temporary intent? If so, then they will probably make the same finding. Determining and addressing the reason for the denial is a possible way to overcome the denial.
