Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Will a speeding ticket stop me from becoming a US citizen?
I will be applying for citizenship next year. I got a speeding ticket 2 years ago which I paid on time. Will this affect my application for naturalization? Part 10, Section D of form N-400 asks ''have you ever committed a crime or offense for which you were not arrested?''
Do I need to declare my speeding ticket? Or should I just check the ''no'' box?
Thanks for you help.

It will not affect your naturalization. State that you received a traffic ticket, and attach documentation that you paid it.
