Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Withdrawal & NOID
I recently had my final interview and my husband intentionally ruined the interview out of spite. We recieved a Notice of Intent to Deny the petition. He would like to withdraw the petition. Is that possible and what will happen to me? We have about 10 more days to submit proof that our marriage is legitimate, but he is not willing to proceed.

Re: Withdrawal & NOID
You may not be able to rescue this petition, it depends upon the situation. Since he is the petitioner, he has the right to withdraw his petition. On the other hand if you can establish abuse, then you could proceed on your own. Retain a lawyer to review your situation.
