Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
I was wondering how i can help my dad stay here in the US. At the moment he is in jail, because he does not have papers. He does have things on his background, but most are immigration purposes. I am looking to see what i can do to help him stay in the US when he gets out. I am a United States Citizen. I just really need some answers on what i can do to help him? A couple of years ago he did get approved for a visa but right at that moment he went to jail so everything was cancelled. I do have all the papers he signed years ago when applying for his visa, and to get papers to be here in the US. Am i eligible to help my dad out? If so, how long would it take?

If he entered with a visa, he may be eligible for some relief. Contact an immigration lawyer to discuss case in detail. Best of luck.
