Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
I was just wondering if I could qualify for DACA program. I am 24 yrs old. I live in Dallas, TX. I came here to united states before I turn 16 years old and I have been here continuously ever since June 15, 2007. I was physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, graduated high school here and have clean criminal background. the only requirement I am unsure about is the statement that says I have to had no lawful status on June 15, 2012. My student visa that I had was expired on June 2010 but my I-20 from school expired on Sep 2013. so does this mean that I can qualify for it since my actual visa was expired or I don't qualify for it because my I-20 was not expired at that time? if this one thing prevent me from qualifying for DACA can it get resolved and get DACA if I work with lawyer?
