Have a work permit from deferred action i live in texas what do i say when i get to border patrol checkpoint ? What do i show?

You need to show your "work permit" & your I-821D approval notice.
However, keep in mind that you cannot leave the United States without "advance parole" (Form I-131, for filing purposes), which will only be granted for humanitarian, educational or employment purposes.
