benefits
dad died in a car accident. my grandmother is beneficary. she has altimizers. my aunt has power of attorney over her. Does benefits go to aunt or his kids

Not enough facts...beneficiary implies insurance policy..but damages from a car accident imply loss of companionship, support..etc..if someone was liable for accident...insurance goes by contract to named beneficiary, damages go to family...ie wife, children etc

The benefits go to the beneficiary. The POA has the power to spend it for the benefit of the grandmother.
