Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
I broke my foot in march on march 14th, I have short term disabilty though the hartford group that pays 60 percent of my income. I also purchase sevrel years ago a aflac policy also. With the 2 policys together I can pay almost all my bills until I go back to work, now hartford is asking if I get more income b/c they want to deduct what they send me. Am I obligated to tell them about aflac ? This policy with aflac is a seprate policy,

If you have the policies, they may permit deduction..this is governed by contract law..but unless they give u proof of their right to knowing what u receive, don't give it..and/or calll a lawyer
