Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

car accident

I had accident on my car on June 2007. It is hond civic 2007.It was my fault but i was covered my insurance paid about 10500 to the repairshop,Now it is may2008 and he still didnt finish the job yet.The only thing left are airbags. In the mean time I used his car for a couple of months it was an old car with no AC, It broke down, and he is blaming that I didnt put engine oil so it broke down. Now I am afraid that he is never going to finish the airbags.Now i have my car back without airgags and he is threatening to charge me for his car.What can I do?

Did your insurer send you to the repair shop or did you choose it?..But call your insurane agent for advice...and get your car away from the inept repairman...
