Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Car Accident
I have a question involving a car accident in which the other party is at fault. the inurance adjustor called and told Me My car was written off as a total loss. They said they would only pay $4000, but We owe three times that amount. He cited extensive hail damage, which we did have some minor hail damage but he decided that it was worth knocking off $2500-$3000 from our settlement. What legal recourse do we have to get the full amount we deserve? Shouldn't they pay off what We owe at least? As of now we have know vehicle and the insurance is basically saying, tough luck. Please advise, Thank You

Re: Car Accident
The insurance co. is obligated to pay the economic value of your property which may have no relation to the amount you owe.
