Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Car Damaged While at Dealer
My Car was being worked on when I went to pick up the car, it had damage that was not there before. The dealer is saying that I need to put the claim on my insurance. Is this correct, or since the car was in their possession should they take liability?

Re: Car Damaged While at Dealer
It's the dealers liability. Make them give you a claim form or you'll have to sue them. Good Luck.

It's the dealer responsibility BUT making a claim with your insurance does not raise your rates AND your insurance company has lawyers to collect from the dealer and collect the deductible
