car insurance laws
my fried as a question if a minor deceased in a car accident but the car insurance company does not want to pay because they must have the biologically father sign papers work for the money to be released. in the birth certificate on the father section it states unspecified. the father never was involved in the childs life at any time. does the father have a right to this the mother and the bio. father were never married.

The biological father may have some rights, unless he has signed a termination of parental rights. I need to know more facts before I can be of much help. (such as, has the case been filed in court, has a probate action been taken)
