Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
car insurance : recent wreck
I was recently in a car wreck. I was not at fault and my insurance company paid me for my total loss. I was never able to get in contact with the driver of the other car who was eventually found to be at fault for the wreck. That driver's insurance company is now trying to contact me about any losses I incurred. Being that I have already been partially compensated by my insurance company, do I have any legal ability to collect for more damages from their insurance company?

as to property...you probably had a deductible but if you were injured, the otehr insurance would want to pay and close the case
