Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
car not on road but driver insured?
My ex bought my daughter a car and left it at his parents' house because it was going to take a while to get the title changed to my daughter's name so she could start her own insurance. My agent had told me that my daughter was covered in any car she drove, so when the inlaws got tired of having the car in their yard my daughter was going to drive it home. Unfortunately, a man ran a redlight and hit her head on. Should my daughter be considered covered? The other guy only has 25k insurance and her medical may be close to that :(

You need to speak with your agent and look at your policy. This will let you know whether or not she is covered.
If they deny coverage, have the documents reviewed by an attorney.
