Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Car totaled; driving without insurance
I got into an accident with my rental car and I didn't opt for any insurance offered by the rental company. My insurance policy for my personal car doesn't have collision coverage. I wasn't driving under influence of any sort of alcohol etc.. my car just hydroplaned and did not get a ticket.
Question: Am I liable for all car expenses? It was a brand new ford.
I just started working - was a student until a few months ago and do not have any money to pay. I am in deep trouble. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Of course, your liable. No insurance, no coverage means you pay out of your pocket.
