Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Changing names on life insurance & property.
My mother-in-law- is in a nursing home and we need to transfer her life insurance over into her sons name. The property should also be done the same way. There is no title or deed to this propery but they have been paying taxes on this all these years. She is unresponsive and has no idea of what is going on around her. There is no way she could sign papers or even make a mark. So how do we go about getting done what we need to do?

In my opinion, you need a guardianship and discussion about all her assets, if any, medicaid claims if she is on medicaid..etc..Call us and we could discuss possibilities.
