Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Common Law Marriage/ Property bought during that time
We lived together for 9yrs. we bought a house and land which has since been sold and split 50/50 now he has put the house up for sale and wants me to pay him because he lived in the house of which he refused to leave due to having children I at the time had to make the decision to leave, anyway we have been separated for about 6.5 yrs. The agreement made when we separated was since I had to pay rent of $750 he would pay the land and house payment. I would pay my car payment he would pay his car payment I would pay car ins, he would pay health ins. Now he is trying to say that since I did not pay a house payment since I moved out that the sale of house should not be split 50/50. Should the profit from the house be split 50/50.

Whose name is on the title to the house? And was the separation agreement in writing? Or pursuant to a court order? Did you have a divorce?
