Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Contractors work
An agency has a contractor to put an air condictioner in my window.The next day it rain very hard it started to rain in my house soaking my carpet and buckling my floor.I called him and told him what had happened and he told me that he would come and take a look at the floor.He was going to get his insurance person to come talk to me but this has been about two weeks ago.I called him this week and again he told me that he was going to call him insurance person.At this time I haven't gotten a call from him nor his insurance person.What do I need to do to get my floor fixed by him?

Send him a demand letter for the damage by Certified Mail Return Receipt. If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to sue him. Can you submit the claim to your insurance co.? Then they will try to collect.
