Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

I was denied by BCBS claim for at heart test which they said is experimental. The nurse had said she got approval for this heart test, but there is no record of her call. I had no idea that it was an experimental test. My company doesnt have experimental as a coverage so BCBH wont pay. I am caught in the middle and it is nearly $3,000.

Well...nothing new for BCBS....but you could contact a lawfirm which handles such claims. We are in Dallas and have a suit against BCBS for denial of cancer treatment...in reality the cost of litigation exceeds the amount..and perhaps the doctor's office has a record of the # called by the nurse..so it could be egregious denial meritting punitive damages...good luck
