Employee responsibility in regard to company property
My husband damaged a company motor home. His employer is going to make him pay for the damage.He is not a subcontractor. Isn't his employer required, by law, to have some kind of insurance to cover these kinds of accidents?

Cheapskate employers often cut corners on insurance. If this deduction would take your husband's pay below minimum wage, he could sue the employer for wage and hour violations.
