Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Fatal accident
A friend was driving my car and had a roll-over accident that killed him. His license was revoked and I let my insurance lapse so the bank put insurance on my car and added the premium to my note. The car was totaled and the payoff is less than what I owed.
Can I recoupe my loss by filing against my friends parents to recoupe the loss of my car? Or what legal grounds if any do I have?

Re: Fatal accident
Doesn't cost anything to make a claim against your friend's parents' insurance. Since he did not have a license, he is likely no covered. But give it a try. Might work. Good Luck.
