Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
My father died Feb 05, 2009. He was 4 days away from having two years vested in insurance policy. The policy payout was denied due to alleged false information however I received the premium. I requested the initial phone conversation between my father and the Colonial Penn rep to no avail. I was told the the phone log are deleted 6-9 months after initial call. There is a form that my father signed answering certain questions however I wanted to hear the actually phone conversation. I have requested this information as well as medical records. I have contacted the Consumer Protection and wrote the corporate office of Colonial Penn, all responses are no phone conversation available and will have to get medical record myself. I want to hear to conversation the ensure that my father was not coerce into falsifying documents.
