Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
I got into A fender bender January 9, 2013. When it happened she was very nice and made sure I was ok and I did the same for her. No one got injured, an ambulance was never called, and I am sure it said so in the police report. Today I got served (which was filed 2 months ago) , the women is trying to sue me for $1,000,000 claiming the following: A. Physical pain/suffering and mental anguish in the past and future; B. Physical Impairment in the past and future; C. Medical expenses in the past and future; D. Disfigurement; and Lost wages and loss of earning capacity. I was totally caught of guard because she was completely fine and I never thought twice about it. My question is this even going to hold up? Sounds to me like fraud.
